Science stories, revisited

Statistics abound in the popular press, and they’ve often been stretched out of shape like the results of a global game of telephone. This blog entry traces the history of a oft-quoted statistic (10 percent of Wall Street employees are psychopaths) that bears little resemblance to its scientific underpinnings.
